This Module will display the X most recently updated albums. The script looks at all sub-albums, not only the top level albums. It uses a cache file and lets you set the cache expiration time. It only shows public and non-hidden albums.

The lastXupdates.php is not part of the Module, install the corresponding script from the Gallery Addons section.
